Local business woman Faith Chaodza, is set to launch a Crossfit centre this weekend with the aim of helping women who are willing to do body work outs.
The launch will be held at Allan Wilson School and it will be graced by various trainers and guests.
Chaodza, whose dream has always been of providing free space for women to transform their bodies, is also an aerobics instructor, fire fighters fitness trainer and a personal trainer.
“It has always been my dream to start my own business and I made a decision that I needed to come up with my own place where I could motivate women to lose weight, to choose their body shapes through weights and crossfit,” Chaodza says.
Crossfit is a form of high intensity power fitness which entails Olympic weightlifting, kettle bells and explosive weight movements among others.
Chaodza noted that the centre mainly targets women since most gyms have been male dominated and most women were intimidated to take part in weight losing activities. However, those men willing to work on their bodies also are most welcome.
“I just wanted to see women changing their lives, owning their bodies, become more confident being sculptors of their own bodies. They get to sculpture the image they want doing it on their own, where they are free. I’m not sideling men in this, I also do train men and my passion is to also help those men struggling with weight loss,” she added.
“I expect to grow bigger and bigger in the industry so that my name is on the list where other successful ladies in the industry are mentioned.”
Her dream however doesn’t end there as she is expecting to expand her business.
“I also expect the group to grow bigger and eventually find space of my own with time and to venture also in opening an antenatal training centre for my pregnant ladies,” she added.
She encouraged people to work out on their bodies as this play a pivotal role in fighting diseases and also improves people’s social lives which entail boosting confidence, feeling powerful and energised.
“Imagine when a couple finishes working out together, the vibe they get both physically and mentally,” says Chaodza.
Crossfit is one of the businesses that has few players countrywide and the emergence of such centres is seen as a great move.
