Healthy Lunch Box Ideas for kids

Schools opened this week and finding a healthy, easy and quick to make lunch can be a bit hectic but don’t worry Mama Bear, we got you. Here I will be teaching you how you can make something simple yet yummy and classic for your bundle of joy.

Tips:
Since the food is stored for hours before consumption, it might not be wise to use foods like eggs and meat and they are supposed to be eaten within two hours after preparation.
Pasta, rice and noodles are also not preferable for your kid’s lunch.

Lunch box ideas for school children

So today I am sharing a recipe on how to make vegetable wraps.

Ingredients
For the wrap I use wheat flour
For filling I use fresh vegetables ie carrots, tomatoes, onions, lettuce. You can also add cabbage, avocado.
For spread I use cheese

  1. Wash your vegetables thoroughly and slice them
  2. Prepare your spread using cheese or yoghurt
  3. Smear the spread on the wrap
  4. Place your sliced vegetables on the wrap and roll-up
  5. Roll it up and stick the edges for the roll to have shape.
