Zvishavane based Shekinah Glory Organisation is appealing for donations in form of groceries to ensure that the children under the organization’s care have a dignified Christmas holiday.
Shekinah Glory Children’s Home cares for 11 children (6 boys and 5 girls), placed through the Ministry of Public Labour and Social Development.
The organization has been doing commendable work ensuring that the children fit into the community and remain in school, including those with disabilities.
“We are therefore appealing for groceries towards our Christmas basket so that our children will have a memorable festive holiday. We kindly accept any gifts that may come along,” said Regina Mafadza, the organization’s administration coordinator.
Shekinah Glory also has a Skills Training Centre which accommodates 50 trainees per intake, with 2 intakes per year. The next intake in January 2024.
